Sweet Missouri Engagement Session in the Country - Barns, Rivers & Old Trucks

April 21, 2017 • Leave a Comment

The light was so beautiful the day of Kaitlin & Carter's engagement photo session. They traveled to my country studio in the Bolivar / Halfway area from Jefferson City and I'm so glad they did! After having a series of days with crazy weather and strong winds, this day turned out perfectly, complimenting the sweet chemistry between the two of them. We spent some time around the old barn in the back of the studio and then headed to a nearby river, then back to catch a gorgeous sunset and a few photos with my 77 Ford truck. Here are some of my favorites <3 I seriously can't wait for their wedding day! Ashley + Dusty / Columbia Missouri Wedding Photography / The Club at Old Hawthorne

This seriously couldn't have been a more wonderful day to photograph a wedding

First off, the incredible venue, The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia Missouri. What a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception. The original portion of the clubhouse was built in 1938 as an exact replica of President Andrew Jackson's home! Rolling hills, long hallways with lots of natural light, multiple gathering rooms, patio, and large upstairs balcony.

We so can't wait to return!

Secondly, what a gorgeous bride and groom, and the friends and family surrounding them. Bride Ashley and her Groom Dusty are a picture perfect couple. So many congratulations to this sweet sweet couple!!!

I also have to mention that Ashley's dress was one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen. We had to apologize to our bride for making her do a million spins. The gown just flowed so naturally and Ashley totally worked it!
